This is my custom chainmail that i made, the hauberk i finished about a year and half ago (and shown in a couple different threads)

this vest i literally just finished making ten minutes ago

Are you going to make an overlap on the first piece, where it buckles together, or are you leaving the gap?

im leaving the gap, its not so big that anything can get a shot in between it or to be considered illegal, it passed at chaos wars

It certainly passes, but if I were to stab you in the middle of the chest on that gap, I would expect you to take it.
