First tip: Don't start wearing armor on the field until you've been fighting longer, usually around a year. If you start wearing a lot of armor before then, you don't learn a lot of skills and end up relying on the armor to be successful.

If you want the armor, find stuff that looks like art from the armybooks. If you still want to order some, send reference pics to Forkbeard and talk about prices. He makes a lot of really nice looking stuff and could make a set that really captures the appearance you're after.

Keep in mind: for a full suit of detailed armor like that, expect to spend upwards of $3,000.

And that's a conservative guess. With all of the runework and detailing that it would require, it would be a work of art as much as armor.

Google to the rescue:

Looks like plate to me. And that's pretty expensive. I recommend you find ways to get the look you want with non-armor (read: cheaper) materials, and then, if you decide you want armor, you swap out some of the pieces, one piece at a time, with armor-grade stuff.

Here's a picture of kit that would be much easier to work toward as a newer fighter.

A lot of that stuff could be made as garb, too, so you won't be hindering your development as a fighter.

Once you have a basic kit under your belt like the above picture...and maybe a year or so of fighting and your ready to get armor...the cheapest option here is going to be making the armor yourself. Anyone i know of, including myself would charge at least 3-5k for a full suit of armor like this, which has been mentioned.

Go to Warhammeronline.com and look up the Chaos faction. The chosen class has a bunch of pics that would help you decide...and the great thing about this is that they have a few versions that aren't as ornate as the above pic such as this one.

Here is another one that would be a little easier to build

If you do decide to do it yourself, there are a lot of resources online.

The shapes are pretty basic and simple. The hard part is going to be the designs and tooling. You will also have to do something like this out of leather. There is no way you would ever be able to get this set of armor or a set of armor like it to pass if its metal.

With leather you can do the spikes and whatnot, and have a fair chance of getting them passed assuming they are safe and flexible.

I can make anything.
But, you can't WEAR anything. Many War hammer armours arwe huge in the shoulders. I meanhuge, look at them for god sake. Shoulders that big shash into your head constantly. Especially is the have all those **** horns and fins and stuff on them. I can make whatever you want, but most of thet stuff only works in pictures.
I can make something like it that will work, will look awesome and scary and will work.
It will be leather plate. It'll cost between $1500 and $2500 depending on what you want.
These guys are right, the symbols and tooling and style stuff will cost as much as the pllates themsleves, but hey, life is art, huh?
I'm not as expensive as they think, though. HEAR THAT, SHOPPERS?

alright, well maybe i'll maybe veer toward marauder armor for now at least...and i already have bracers, so no need for that...but i'd want a war harness that you know makes an "X" around your torso...but that's all i have got as far as ideas so far...ill come up w/ more stuff later.
