Pretty cool.
Who made it? I love it.
I'd like to see the inside, though. I suspext the dome would look wird without all the trim. Not that that matters as it DOES have all that awesome trim.
It looks like Alexi's mask from chaos done better.

It would probably look better with a white dome but * that trim is gorgeous.

Why, it's only leather and paint. I'd wear it all the **** time. I was assuming the face came off so you could wear it while eating and brushing your teeth.

That armor is actually owned by an amtgarder (one of their realm leaders... the guy who does the foam sword fighting at fanime.)

5 extra health cus its all matching, its leather, and its professionally made, and it looks cool. Not joking.

I'm surprised that's not 6 point armor; 6 points for plate, -1 for being leather, +1 for exceptional quality, or is it -2 for leather?

I think it's like 2 for leather, +1 hardened, +1 thick, +1 exceptional quality.

Not to derail... but how do they actually do armor then? 6 points for all armor period - 6 hits to bracer breaks all armor? Or like 6 points per legally covered striking area - we're talking hp in the double digits? Sounds like a mother to keep track of...

This one. 6 points for each arm, 6 for each leg, 6 for head, 6 for torso. 24 points in total to keep track of.

Ah, that makes sense Arrakis. I slightly loathe Amtgard armor conventions. Not too much, just slightly.

Very few people in Amt actually own or wear 6pts. In fact only 1 class (warrior) can use it 6pts of armor.

Armor only counts where it covers just like Bel, Most wear 2-3pts if they have it. And it's really not that hard to keep track of. Especially when you have weapons that do 2-5pts, or arrows that do 2-5 points (or just destroy all armor in 1 shot). It's actually fairly easy. If you can keep track of 1"pt" aromor in Bel you can keep track of 2-3, once you have that down keeping track of 4-6 isn't too difficult.

And as a side comment, the more armor I wear the less I have to count armor because I be can guarenteed that if I die I'm either getting outright killed by magic or archers (with 5pt arrows or penitration arrows) probably 90% of the time (unless I have a firendly cast give me protections in which case I tank the enemy casters down).
