Dressing up old boots

I once saw a link, or possibly just a guide that someone made on the board that showed how to dress up an old pair of combat boots and make them look more period with some strips of fur and some leather. Does anyone know where that can be found?

Thanks,

Oh man, but this tutorial had like a really specific strap placement and some fur that I thought was awesome, if anything I just want to see the picture again for inspiration.

Fair enough. I'd say just experiment until you get form and function.

Holy Hell,

That was an awesome link. I have always wanted authentic looking medieval shoes, but I have to have real athletic shoes. I think this is very accessible for people. Thanks!
