Since there's no pattern, Fork, could we get some closeup pictures of the gaunts? Just to see how the various pieces sit together.

There are close ups on my facebook page.
I don't understand the question, really. I just took scrap leather, cut it into strips and sewed them onto soft leather cross straps. It was fairly intuitive.
The elbow is a tight little dome.
The hands are just gauntlet peices from any gauntlet pattern for sca.

It moves perfectly. It's not overly hot, either. It breathes very, very well.

Cost him time and materials. He made it all himself. He does have multiple pieces of armor, so "all of your armor" is really a loaded question... :frog:

I made nearly all of it from scrap.
But I spent about $120 on laces.
Like 30 on dye(don't ask).
And it took about 150 hours. Maybe more. Probly more, I can't remember the mind numbing time I spent dealing with those **** scales.
