At it again.

Got involved with some pretty evil stuff. Severed myself from it.

Basically looked like I looted my guilds abandoned projects box and never showed up again. I called to make amends, I may become an apprentice to a dude that's been armoring since '81

Anyways, I'm back at it.

I had an idea for a cuirass. Basically, rivets on the sides of the breastplate and backplate, and then rivet 'em to straps of leather. That way it'd be easier to hammer out dents, you'd just have to separate the pieces. Or separate one piece.

So, breastplate, column of rivet holes on the left and right side. Same with the backplate. Then rivet that stuff to the leather.

Is this a completely asinine idea? Still reeling from the effects of aforementioned evil stuff.
You telling me to beware? 'Cause I'll tell you where to be.

Are you involved in something that would do a significant amount of denting to a metal cuirass?

It would certainly make it easier to put on i suppose.

Do you mean a breastplate with backplate? Like, the kind you put on separately? That came about sometime between 1350 and 1450?
