Watch what you buy from them. A lot of their stuff isn't thick enough to pass. The stuff that does will say 13/15 oz. leather somewhere in the description.

Honestly, buy from Forkbeard, better quality, it's made to pass Bele specs. and the priceing is very fair if not better than everyone else.

Most of it will pass, some of it won't. All of it will be mediocre quality. Bracers and basic body armor (without articulation) are okay. I wouldn't buy any "made in India" armor with articulation and the leather helmets I've seen look like a waste of money. The brigandine is okay and is a decent price, probably the only thing they sell that I would consider buying.

Like Soo Ma Tai said, you should buy from someone within the game. You can get it custom fitted, you know it'll pass, and you'll be supporting someone in the community instead of some dodgy reseller.

Kult of Athena sometimes has better deals and I've heard their customer service is superior.

I would check their prices against Ring Lord's. I have heard their stuff is good, IDK about By the swords.

Ring Lord is the way to go if you want loose rings, other than making them yourself.

I've owned 2 pairs of By-the-Sword bracers in my fighting career, but not for about 7 years...they're ok, but what you can make yourself will be better. Or one of the numerous leathersmiths.
