What kind of clothes are you looking for? Both those stores sell run-of-the-mill mass produced stuff of variable quality that you can get from most retailers . I once bought some breeches from Renstore and they were a horrid poly-cotton blend.

Here are some suggestions for much better garb:

What are you looking to get? A lot of us take commissions for custom made garb...

For armor, I recommend commissioning from an experienced leathersmith in our community rather than buying that mass produced stuff from those retailers. A couple of suggestions in alphabetical order:

Burke's Bulwarks - His stuff is amazing. I am eagerly awaiting a commission from him.

Forkbeard - I saw the work he did for Atlantis - awesome! He has posted pics of a lot of his work on these boards. You can PM him.

If you search these forums, you'll find some other skilled smiths (as well as tailors).

If you're going to lay out a good bit of cash you owe it to yourself to look into commissioning custom made garb and armor. For what you might spend on some mass produced costuming that looks like mass produced costuming you could likely get some pretty sick handmade gear.

And much, much higher in a quality and design than the Museum Replicas and Sofie's Stitches stuff from the shop mentioned in the first post.

This is the BadAss garb facebook page. Kevat can turn you into a historical knight all the way over to making you the best knight elf Mohawk you can be, and everything in between.

Speed does not equal intense. Realistic, brutal, savage, simulated dark age combat is intense. You want speed, go run track!!
