Read our rules. That armor is illegal for the spikes on the bracers and greaves(yes, they are leterh, but they are placed in a way that will bring them into eyegouging range regularly and they could poke your eye out).
The shoulders look like they wouldn't move right for fighting either.
But it's pretty.

A lot of the stuff he posts isn't Belegarth legal, but it's still rad and incredibly well made.

Wasn't saying it was legal? It's more functional than you might suspect but in any case, when someone orders something rule legal, that's what they get. This guy? He just wanted to be a badass medieval bat man. So that's what I made him : )

Very pretty stuff man.

I also question its functionality, but then again its not designed for it.

I put this in the category of being more Art than armor, but very very pretty none the less.

Price, I'm not trying to be a *.
I mention our rules and the illegality of this armor because you are clearly a profesional armorer. Your work is excellent. But, there are piles of unrestrained new idiots here. When they see a suit like this, they do not even think about it. They simply see the long eye gougers and think they look cool. THey think becasue they see them on this forum, they must be legal and they make them(or a lame attampt at them) go to an event and they fail.
This is bad for the sport. Especially here, where people come to learn specifically about Belegarth legal armor.
When people are led to believe that illegal gear is leagal, spend their time and money making thing only to be laughed at and rejected at events, it is bad for our comunity.
We are NOT like other foam fighting groups and LARPS. We are a highly physically competative sports comunity. We have very rigid safety rules and make NO excetions to them. We fight harder than any other organisation out there. Our need for safe equipment is paramount.

haha, no I understand. It's all good mate. And I'll be making some cool new armor designs for your sport too.

I wish there was a Belegarth group back in 'my day'. Some friends and I put together an amtgard group and we hated the ruleset. So we just started a sort of anything goes spin off called 'ampgard' so it would be more fun lol.
