Did a search here and didn't find any Tin references so this is the topic.
Tin armor is not period. In the Dagorhir forums it was debated that Tin was used for decoration and was not, on its own, suitable for armor.

Couldn't find any references to tin medieval armor on google and the wiki only talks about tin used in making bronze. Straight up Tin plate or sheet is really only used for decoration but Sn (tin) is widely used to protect other metals and used in alloys.
Please correct the post if its wrong - otherwise this is just educational
With that covered: I have some sheet metal that I'd like to use for armor and Im convinced that its tin-coated steel. I assume that this would fall under a "modern steel alloy". Right?
