Padding armor?

Postby Kyrael » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:53 pm

I just finished up my Pauldron and its my first real armor piece that I can use. I have it strapped to go across my chest and another down on my arm but when I got it adjusted right it kinda digs into armpit pretty roughly but if I loosen it It moves around a bit much and hurts my flexibility. Any suggestions for this problem? I was thinking maybe trying to strap a pad onto the strap or possibly getting a padded shirt but I wanted some opinions from people who have been there. Thanks!

My first guess, without pictures to go from would be your sizing is off. But to answer your question, you can put some camppad or MC under the foam or wear thicker garb.

I was thinking padded armor but I thought there might be some consequences I don't know about that more experienced armor wearing warriors would know about. I'll try to get a picture up soon my phone camera doesn't want to work.

It fits pretty well on my arm with no issues its just rather tight under my arm and tugs and pulls around

If you mean it digs in where you have the cross-chest strap going under your opposite armpit, the best solution is to tie the spaulder to your garb at the point of the shoulder.

You can wrap the strap that crosses under your arm with a softer leather so it doesn't rub so bad. I think this is what your asking about.
