Leather Leaf Armor Pattern

I am in a very new realm and we don't have very much exp. with anything at this point.
Seeing as I am new to the game of armoring, and the only one interested in trying at this point, i was wondering if anyone has any designs I can use

I have access to small pieces of leather but I do not have any bolts yet. Hoping to get those soon but until then i would like to at least start with what I have right now, thus I am looking at a small scale or leaf pattern due to the size of my pieces.

Any and all help will be appreciated and once i have a design created and used, I will be giving credit to the person(s) that gave me the information.

So, you are thinking about this too hard.



Print that out, get the leather wet and trace it out onto the leather. Cut it out, use a swivel knife on the inside lines, and as it dries, play with shaping the edges of the leaf so they get wrinkly like an actual leaf.

Search google images for future patterns. Tribal Tattoo's are a great place to start. Checkout youtube for swivel knife technique.
