New Steel Armor Scales

Recently gained access to awesome engineering stuff that will allow me to get into armor smithing in steel. I'm going to soon be producing steel scales that pass bel and dag armor standards by penny rounding and thickness. Heres a link of the proposed design as a solidworks file.

Scales will be 1.25 wide and 2.25 tall out of 18 gauge. Prices will come after get some made up. So anybody interested in this?

The ones from The Ring Lord don't look to be penny round and most of them are aluminum. Where did you see that they were legal for our rules?

Here are pics of the first prototype scales before any ridge has been added. Also a pic to show penny rounding.

FWIW, there is no penny round rule in Dag.

These are the only relevant rules:
5.1 - General
5.1.15 - Rigid armor including helmets must have no spikes or points and must have blunted edges.
5.2 - Metal Armor:
5.2.9 - All corners should be rounded to at least 1/2" radius for safety.

Anyway, that shouldn't matter. Pennies are ... what, .75 inches across? I look forward to seeing a section of these put together.

I am aware of the .5'' radius for dag and did take this into account with my scales. I used .5" radius at least on all corners when I made the part in Solidworks. Thanks for the heads up though! In new news I have 1200 scales I am producing to use and sell so contact me if you are interested on the board messaging.
