Belegarth in Wyoming

Postby Spacer » Mon Sep 26, 2011 6:54 pm

Greetings,

I have become curious as to whether there are any Bel players in Wyoming. I know there are a few Amtgard chapters toward the west end of the state but I have not heard of Belegarth having any hold here. Are there perhaps members in the state who are not organized into a chapter and, if so, where might they be?

It depends on where you are. In theory there might be a group in Casper (there is no listed contact info though). There are also groups in north Colorado (Mordor) and north Utah (Aquilonia).

Washington: Gondor

There are no staffs in Belegarth. Because of how they are constructed, they are really Pugil Sticks.

I've got an old Marine buddy who lives in Casper/Laramie who I could probably convince to come out and fight if you get a field going. He attended one event and did reasonably well and enjoyed himself.

Let me know and I'll give him a call. You should be able to get some bodies with U of W there.

(Sweet. They were in the wiki, but they: A) didn't make their entry in the realm list a link, B) they spelled their actual entry incorrectly.)

Anyway, Tib listed their info, and the wiki links now all work. Good luck, and I hope Casper is near you.

Thank you for all the information there it is quite helpful. I will definitely be contacting these people and asking some questions and seeing what we can do. Working with people in Laramie is particularly good since often, as is the case today, we're snowed in and really aren't likely going anywhere outside of town.

Sadly Casper is not particularly close to Laramie. It is about 2.5 hours northwest of here in the center of the state but there are reasons to get out that way occasionally and it is good to know where to make some friends and have a good game while out that way.

Definitely going to keep working at it. I miss these games way too much.
