This is exactly what I need! I have only watched the first vid so far.. and it is good stuff! We are really looking at how to recruit actively, and get a certain age demographic. And already he has some really good ideas! Good find!

Really really informative! Most of that stuff is pretty universal when it comes to any kind of recruiting.

I somehow have missed this everytime I come into this forum. This is excellent.

Every realm should at least watch this and consider the possibilities these "classes" bring. Much of it may seem common sense, but it's the "common sense" ideas that usually get overlooked.

Thanks for posting this Madog; a lot of great info for young realms like my own in just 30 minutes of note-jotting. Wish I would have stumbled onto this post earlier; it explained one of our big problems (mass surge of recruits = mass leaving, instead of focusing on keeping a couple members at a time).

Step 1. Update your website more than once a decade

Step 2. When some kid calls you and asks how he can join call him back and explain things.

Which is why I'm playing Bel, and the SCA can prithee go lick a troll's protuberance.

I pulled the flash video files so I could watch it offline as well. I put them up zipped together if you would like to download them from here and the second half. You may need a player that plays flash videos without the browser, such as vlc player.

One person at my realm says this when trying to recruit people " Where else can you go to beat the **** out of somebody for less money than other fighting this cost, with out any legal action ready to happen
