I called in and was like..."I don't actually Larp but i kinda do something similar"
they proceeded to laugh at me and try to belittle me because hey that makes good radio, then they said thank you and hung up before i could really say much....
So i called back...
"Kiss FM your on the air".... "well you gotta let me explain myself before not telling me im on the air and then hanging up on me" lets just say i got their attention lol
I proceeded to tell them about Belegarth medieval combat society and they asked a couple questions and were overall a lot more interested than the first call through
I explained a little bit about the weapons, about how it is a full contact combat sport game and how there is a very large following of people spread out across the nation who partake in said activity
By the end of the interview they were switching to commercial and off the radio telling me that they thought i was really cool and mature and they want me to call back and talk about it more with them on monday during their next show
