Just finished up this hinged signboard and thought I'd show it off as an example for others. The backside is basically identical to this one. I stole the idea from Babylon and modified their text to suit us. I made sure to put the recruitment poster on it so people could see it and associate it with the poster they saw at the rec center. The open space on the top right is where I'm going to attach a brochure holder and put a bunch of these trifolds in for people to take home. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks again Babylon for the idea.

I can't tell what all is written there, but it looks good. I've always meant to do something like this -- it's good to see someone has!

Single or double sided?

Double. Both sides are identical, including the images (I probably should have used different pictures, but I was too lazy), except on the other side the top level is evenly spaced (no gap for the brochure holder).

And Magpie, the text in full is linked below the image if you would like to read it. The pic is just intended as a quick example view of what we'd thrown together.

This was successful at our mini-event on Saturday, we had several people reading it and then asking more intelligent questions or stepping back to just watch. The one other page of text I might add would be a description of some of our more common games so they could follow what was happening if we aren't just doing a straight 2-team line battle. I also intend to position it at the very corner of our field area so that the shy ones don't have to walk particularly close to us to read what is going on.

hate to be a necromancer but **** brilliant would you mind if i where to use the text (reworded for our realm) for recruiting purposes?

Is there a thread of pictures that have been OKayed for public use? I don't want to go grabbing pics off the boards without permission for use.

I don't think anyone would have a problem as long as proper credit was given (some don't even care about that) and you aren't making money.

Any photos I use will be strictly for promotional purposes. As my realm does not make any profit off of any funds gained (everything benefits the group as a whole) there isn't any worries about personal gain.

A stack of photos that people can go to and use without worry would be a great resource... Maybe that is my next project (Gotta prep my self for it though, sounds like a lot of work...).

Bhakdar and I are the ones who made the text for the sandwich board. I also took some general info from the Belegarth website as well. As long as no one is selling anything I'm fine with anyone using the text.
