We just finished a fundraiser for BfRIII Saturday. We were guest performers at a child's B-day party where we did a demo of the sport and afterwords, we allowed over fifty 6-year old children to beat us to death repeatedly. Their terrible cries of "Kill, Kill, Kill..." and "Die, Die, Die..." will haunt me forever. One of them had a future in law enforcement, because as he beat my corpse, he kept saying, "Stay DOWN, Citizen!"
But the best child was a three-year old girl in a sequin dress who kept beating Cheesehart when he was down. As she hit him with a sword, she also kicked him in the ribs and on the back of the head/neck.
Some of the children started saying things like, "Well, there play dead now, but let's make sure they are REALLY dead!"
Finally, we all got to eat pizza and the parent's gave us $200 for the event. We distributed business cards to parents and explained what we really do. Everyone signed waivers before hand (for the kiddies), and the parent's were present. I am not sure if I recommend this to anyone because young kids tend to hit only in the faces and groin, and they never die-that is a concept they don't get when they are part of a mob. However, it is a lovely experiment in human behavior.
