I need to specifically know of any registered realms affiliated with community colleges. We are trying to get another group up and they think there isn't much of a community college precedent. Any help is appreciated.

I tried one of the community colleges, but it was a joke, I hope someone else has better luck than me.

So apparently, the way community colleges do insurance (at least in California) is different from the Universities...and that puts the little fledgling group at risk of loosing a spot to play on campus. Especially because the college may ask them to insure every practice. The cost for that is high

Lowlands Realm was sort of a 4-chapter realm at one point. We were a college club on paper, but originated/met/ran off-site.

Did they practice elsewhere because the campus was concerned about the liability for practicing on campus? My guys have two problems: 1) The sports club wing won't consider them a sport and 2) Non-college students would not be able to participate under their insurance, forcing the fledgling realm to get insurance for each practice $$$$.

We were probably 80% non-student. And they didn't give us any trouble at all. I think they thought the "Seminole Community College Medieval Combat Club" TALKED about medieval combat.
