Saw a few new posts on fledgling realms and it looked like their contact email were personal emails. I think marketing is a large part of whether a realm becomes successful, so I recommend easy emails that tell people what you are about. Pick something difficult for them to forget. Also, even better, put that on business cards.
If I were making emails for a new realm based in the city of Irvine, I would make up something like:
IrvineSwordFight"at"gmail.com or something like that. Our real email is sword "at"uci.edu. I think it has contributed greatly to our success and still get 1-2 emails a week from prospective fighters. They tend to show up to practice if you take the time to be friendly and answer their questions regarding your group. It also allows companies or other organizations know you are a professional outfit. It has been the primary way people contact us for movies, theater performances, and demonstrations at sporting events (World Highland Celtic Games).
