To help generate interest in our realm I started a news letter call the Dun Ahmon Guardian. Check it out there is a great interview with the President of Dur Demarion.

That's awesome. Is that primarily for your own folks, or do you guys advertise that on flyers/business cards/etc., or direct potentially interest folks that way?

I don't have any advertisements on our news letter as of yet. I hand out business cards wherever I go, I'm spreading the word on our forum, and I have an ad on craigslist.

I am attempting to make it a go to spot for anyone interested in medieval reenactments or renaissance festivals. I keep an updated calendar with Amtgard, Belegarth, Dagorhir, renaissance festivals and SCA events that are within a few hours drive of Louisville.

For content I have been posting articles with tips and tricks, instructional, humor, entertaining stories, interviews, and discussions about events that I have attended.

If you or any one you know are interested in writing an article for the Dun Abhon Guardian I would be glad to look at what you have. The Guardian is still pretty new but it already has a lot of content on it so please take a look and let me know what you think.
