I'm putting together a boffer guide for Amtgard crossover fighters, and I noticed that I only have the rough draft of the HACS system. I know it's not currently in use, but could someone direct me to or provide me with a full copy of the ruleset?

I don't think it was ever finished.

At Amtgard's Spring War '07, a category 5 tourney was held, so there's got to be rules for it. The draft I have goes up to level 4.

They might have had an actual rules set at some point but the website was deleted and I'm pretty sure everyone involved bailed on HACS.

I just got a reply from Edhelen saying that the class 5 rules hasn't been fully developed, and that my copy is the most current. This insinuates that the idea of HACS hasn't been scrapped altogether. Maybe Bangor will be head-shotting you in the future!

It's the only event I can likely attend this year, depending on my willingness to:
A) make enough money this summer
B) take the transamerican journey from Idaho to wherever the **** Ragnarok actually is

Well, I digress. You should try to find out some more so everyone else knows what's going on.

A. The drive is likely to be the most expensive part.

B. It's in Eastern Ohio.

1)There's a Hacs Tourney at GenCon?? Odd, i didn't know that....More than likely we're just using Hacs rules since it's the easiest to use on concrete with newbs...or hell, vets for that matter. Concrete hurts.
I'll see if i can get you a better answer about this. If i don't respond in a couple days, PM me so i remember i was suppose to.

2)i thought the folks of Dag. lost the Spring Valley site.

As for the Spring valley thing, that's why i didn't say it as a statement, and meant it like a question. I wasn't sure.
Thanks for the clarification.

Is DA coming to Rag again? I can't wait to get wolfpacked by Shojin and Tiji again.

Not sure how many or if DA are making it to Rag, i know some of them have been busy as hell lately.
A couple of the BOF should be there, at least toward the weekend.
I haven't been to a Rag since 16. Limited vacation time and all that.

Have fun folks.
