Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew about any boffer groups in Delaware or maybe areas of Pennsylvania that aren't too far of a drive. I'm going on a trip to see my best friend tomorrow and will be there for the next two weeks.

Its probably a bad time of year to try to find fighting but I figured it would be fun both as a chance to show my friend what we do and to keep myself from getting too rusty over my winter break.

Hopefully there is a group who has a gym or something.

A quick Google search reveals a Dag group theoretically active in Wilmington, Delaware: The N.O.D.

I know of no Bel in that area.

There's Amt in Dover, but that particular kingdom is not well known for its fighting.

The N.O.D. guys are fairly cool. Morgrim is one of the greenskins of Urk Kuldar and is a super nice dude.

There's also a Dag realm in Philadelphia. We do our stuff on Tuesday evenings in NE Philly (at Anne Frank Middle School), whereas the Delaware realm does its stuff on Sundays in suburban Wilmington, at the fields by the library near Brandywine High School.

The Philly realm boasts some fairly high-end fighting, if you can make it out there. I make it a point to square off against Devaryn and Nova whenever I can catch them at events. Good stuff, by any standard. You'd like it, Agnarr.

Thanks for the info guys. For some reason it didn't occur to me that dag has its own web presence. I looked the NOD group immediately after posting and sent their leader an email about whether or not they actually practice at this time of year. Turns out they do; you wouldn't even notice it's winter here aside from the ridiculous wind and cold temps. Anyway, thanks for the additional info about places and people, guys. Unfortunately we won't be going and visiting any of the realms in question because of scheduling conflicts with some of my friends' work schedules. Oh well, I was really looking forward to reppin' MDAKS abroad

Heh, no offense meant Magnus. I've never run into you, as far as I'm aware. I square against Devaryn and Nova primarily because, back when I first met them, I was pretty much evenly matched with Devaryn, and he was the only one willing to indulge me for half an hour of heavy sparring at 9 in the morning. Now I do it because I enjoy hanging out with them, and because I like to gauge our respective progress, to see how I'm stacking up against Eastern fighters. You should come tag me at the next event we both hit. I hear good things, and I'd love to see how true they are in person.
