I hear a lot about 4 man horsemen tourneys. Is a horsemen tourneyanything more than 4 on 4? Can some one explain?

Normally its 4-4 no limit on weapons or armor. Tends to be the big tourney because its about teams not just 1-1

Is Peter the dude with the awesome mustache, and the golden shield that has a lion on it? Because he was rocking pretty hard.

That's him. The moustache is controlling the body, but he wins fights, so we let it be.

They look pretty good. Can't I'm surprised with the way the fights turned out--I would have guessed that those 4 teams would have been in the semi-final round--but it seems like it was a fun time for everyone; I wish I could have come.

One problem with the YouTube videos, though, is that they are kind of jerky, especially at the points with the most motion, so I am having a hard time seeing just what is going on at times.

Also, Wisp, kudos on going sword & buckler! I gotta get around to making my own buckler so we can spar at Ragnarok.

Bucklers ROCK. Got me to the final against Peter where he beat me 2 to 1. There really were some good fights in the sword and board tourney. I don't know why whoever filmed the tourney selected those fights for the video.

I don't know that I'll be able to make Rag. If it were a more weekend oriented event I could justify it but with the main action happening on Mon and Tues. I just don't have the time off this year. Still hitting every Dag / Bel event I can this year. We'll done three in the last month so far if you count Gates of Summer next weekend. Get your butt out to Lord of War Magnus!

No, no, you got it wrong--the main action is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this year! I am running the tournaments, I would know; we're trying to make them more fun for fighters and spectators alike, while also allowing time for lots of sweet-ass field battles too.

I'll see about Lord of War--I may have to do work stuff that weekend, not sure yet.

They filmed their unit-mates, and then the whole 4 horseman.

Ok, I'll try and make it out for the weekend then. I'm gonna hold you to it. Last year, Rag had fizzled by thursday.
