How adorable! Shinai are lighter and harder hitting than our weapons and generally don't outlast a good Bel stick used at the same level. *shruuuug*

Texas is full of awesome foamfighters.

There's some excellent guides to making your own weapons, of various types, on the Belegarth wiki at this address.

"Adorable" :roll: whatever kid.

Yes they are lighter...only an asshat doesn't add weight to a shinai. If you don't do this they are pointless as a weapon simulator.

Harder hitting is better and they last just fine...mine survive two sessions a week plus multiple national competitions means they last roughly a year...which ain't bad.

Dang, *, ain't this the Bel boards? I thought we could still take sarcasm around here.

PS: Yeah, this is a foamfighting sport's boards; we're naturally predisposed to like foam best.

The belegarth park starts this saturday, come by and check it out. Bring any one who might be interested in shield bashing and heavier weapons. Should be some loaner weapons available.

Playing on saturday at 2:00 at the pavilion by the playground
