Lake Shellbyville, Illinois

Postby Michael » Wed Jan 27, 2010 1:00 pm

I have been looking for a site to hold an Amtgard event at in South Central Illinois. One of the sites we talked to is a State Park at Lake Shellbyville, IL. They are eager to have us and claim they had someone bring a few hundred 'foam fighters' to the site about 10 years ago. I know that wasnt Amtgard, which means Bel and Dag are the next most likely. I would be interested in any comments from people who might remember that far back.

Michael, that sounds a lot like Wolf Creek State Park where we had Armageddon I. I'd suggest talking to Sorcia about it since she was the one who found the site and helped plan the event.
