Come join Dagorhir Mallenorod for their Fall Battle "Harvest Massacre"!!

We are camping overnight on Friday, September 17th and Saturday, September 18th. We'll have a few pick-up battles on Sunday, September 19th, and then pack up and clean up.

The parking fees will depend on if you are staying overnight or not. Parking is $12 per car for Friday and another $12 for Saturday if your carload is staying overnight. Sunday is included for the overnight guests. We have a combination lock at the gate, so we *ARE* able to let people in after sunset.

If you are coming only during the day, parking is $6 per car each day. Sunday is *NOT* included for the day use people, so we recommend not coming on Sunday if you aren't planning on camping with the group.

The registration fee will be much cheaper this time as this group area is smaller and less expensive. We will only be charging $6 per person this time around.

The feast will also be less elaborate, and thus less expensive- please note it will be an additional cost, the registration fee **DOES NOT** include food. We're planning on having meat and vegetable kebabs for the feast on Saturday night, and a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. We're not positive of the cost at the moment, we'll be figuring that out in the next couple of weeks.

We saw a lot of SoCal folks at Mt. Pinos last weekend, so we're hoping to get a good turnout from Aggelgorod and Anduril (and I'll PM some of those folks).

This is going to be a lot of fun.

Great news Juggernaut!

And even more good news has come in - a new local realm, Adelbrand, in San Ramon, CA - they're coming too!

This is going to be a fun event.

I may or may not go depending on how school is treating me in the next few weeks.

I bet this event will be awesome. Everyone who can go... should, these people are wonderful.

In the Pit with Mallenorodrim are two fighters from Sword Coast who made the long trip north to join us. Not pictured are a bunch of the Belegrim from our neighboring realm in San Ramon, CA, Athalbrand, who made the trip to Harvest Massacre on Friday and then later on Saturday.

For those who haven't played this, we start off with a long story in a bad russian accent telling of how a village trapped a marauding bear in a pit and then took it on in single combat.

Two players enter the pit and when someone dies, another fighter steps in and the fighting continues. Those standing on the sidelines can swing into the pit and kill a fighter and take their place.

This makes for a fast moving fight in small groups, constantly feeding new fighters into the mix as the ones in the pit die off.

A wonderful event! Hopefully the start of an excellent West Coast tradition. Huzzah to Rau and Tati for planning the event and sacrificing so much time in volunteer hours to bing our costs down.

There are weekly practices in several locations around the Bay Area, and we're getting together roughly monthly for a more organized battle.

where besides milpitas?

We have campouts in Milpitas, not practices.

Regular practices are held in Sunnyvale (Mallenorod), Santa Cruz (Salamandastron), San Ramon (Saracor), Benicia (Mallenorod - North), Novato (Juggernaut), and Santa Rosa (Raen Dun'Aear). We've also talked about doing something in San Francisco, and have had feelers for setting up things in some of the Central Valley towns.

YES! Saracor! when do they meet, do you know? I live mostly in pleasanton.

No'Vak has provided the long term answer. But to make it really simple, they meet in San Ramon's Central Park and are fighting both today, 7/7, and Saturday 7/9 from 4PM to 7PM. Be There!

Oops. They're moving practices to Boone Acres Park on Davona Drive. Check the Saracor Facebook page for locations, dates and times of practices. They're trying to do weekday evening practices, build nights as well as weekend practices. We're also working on holding a Bay Area wide battle every month.
