Rampant in the Madison Wi area

Postby fishstix » Mon Sep 06, 2010 6:25 pm

at the moment it's still in the planning stages but for anyone who enjoys the RP aspect there's another LARP starting in the Madison Wi area. the system in use will be Rampant. it's a really open building system. no dates have been sent yet but i wanted to gauge some interest on this board in case anyone wanted in. first game will hopefully be in october.

We practice on Thursdays, 6 to 9pm, at the UW Stock Pavilion, and Sundays, 3 to 6pm at James Madison Park.

we've worked some more things out. it looks like the first event will be as follows

When: Saturday October 9th 10am-10pm
Where: Sandhill Station State Campground, N5595 Mud Lake Road, Lake Mills, WI 53551

as previously mentioned the rules will be Rampant. there will be useable books at the event for character creation and such.

for any other information needed you can contact the organizer, Ken at (608)332-2179. please try to call in the afternoon.

Thanks for the information. Please keep in mind that that's the weekend of Belegarth's most attended event, Octoberfest.

Yeeeeeah.....I will definitely be in Illinois for Octoberfest. It is also likely, that anyone who isn't making it to Octoberfest, doesn't have the money for it, or another event. Let us know how it goes, post pictures, and tell us if you set up another event!

the best i can do for the moment as far as getting you pictures from the first event and information about upcoming events is to direct you to the group facebook page.

Nacodia Rampant.

for those of you who don't have facebook my apologies i'll try to figure out how to get pictures on here later and will be posting information about the next event as it becomes available.
