So I'm finally getting around to officially anouncing Lupercalia. It's been unofficial for quite a while now but it's time to promote...

So far the flyer text is the same as last year and is all correct but we have some additional info:
Site opens Friday morning, though out of towners who RSVP are welcome to come early for tent camping. Friday will be classes all day. We will have introduction to EMP fighting, myths and realities of the arena, history of Lupercalia, and perhaps best of all a weapons making class by the best in the field. If you want to make a really cool weapon contact me ahead of time about materials and time.
Last year was a huge success and this year promises to be bigger. As Florida's first ever EMP event last year we had a good number of fighters but also a lot of hesitant onlookers not sure what to expect but I think every single fighter in attendence said "next year I'll fight".
If you've never seen this kind of fighting, it's worth a trip. If you want to do this sort of fighting, this may be your only chance in the Southest for another year. If you just want an old-school FUN medievalist event where everyone is there doing what they are doing because they like it instead of because they think they are supposed to or it will help them with the next merrit badge, or if you are a fan of fire, dance, or epic tales this is the place for you.
