Help make a Western Events Cross Gaming Map

Postby Acorn » Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:20 pm

Hey guys,

As some of you may know we have a map of western Bel/Dag events. I am adding Western Amtgard and SCA fighting based events to promote cross gaming. When searching I couldn't find a central place with a good calender for either so if you guys know of any events that should be added to this map please let me know. Thanks!

http://blackspire.org/calendar.html. this is fairly reliable, also check the forum. There is also a blackspire yahoo list, but don't go there, it is full of hideous trolling and grown men acting like children

Also I know double posting is frowned upon but this is a good spot for more Washington oriented adventures http://www.nwamtgard.com/.

scadoosh!
I try to maintain as close of contact with the Amtgard cats here as possible; and I try to attend at least two of their practices a month, so I'll be sure to shoot you a PM if anything but to reiterate.

I am going to the Province of Arrow's Flight (Provo SCA) practice today, so I will see if I can get some additions to your map in that regard.

Also, on your map it lists Yestare as being hosted by Aquilonia. They host Samhain, while Ered Duath hosts Yestare (albeit in Aquilonian territory).

Just thought I would clear that up... credit where credit is due.

If you can't pronounce it, don't name your realm or your event after it.

Check this out. There are two "umbrella" type groups in the northwest that are trying to do exactly this. They are the "Coalition of Pacific Northwest Foam Fighters" on Facebook and the "Universal LARP Association" on Facebook.
