Geddon Article "Dag Bele Rules compare"

So i was re reading it and i would like to make some suggestions about it to help clear up what i saw as misunderstanding or problems.

First, while not in the rules, it is generally understood that metal gauntlets are not legal in Dag. There has been talk of ending this, along with the no metal elbows and knees, but it doesn't have alot of traction and will probably just stay the same.

Second, the "calling garb" one for Dag is a little off. It plays out like you guys have it. If you hit the lose folds of my clothes, and wouldn't have hit anything else, you can call garb. If it hits my thick * cloak and stops, but would have continued into my chest, im dead.

Third, to clarify the unclear about one shot/one hit in Dag, it is not. If i swing, and hit multiple targets on multiple people even, with "sufficient force", then they are all hits and should be taken as far as Dag is concern. If i tag your arm, and then your leg, your dead.

If other cross over people want to debate this or clarify it better, let me know.

Isk compiled the chart, so I'll let him know you started up this little thread.

In Bel, as of......6 months ago or so, Rigid metal hand armor is now illegal as well.

The beauty of a wiki is that anyone can edit it.

I will probably do that soon. I wanted to see if anyone had anything to add or debate first, but it seems like they don't.

Hey Ducky,

Most of what you've brought up has been discussed in this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=130&t=31911&hilit=+comparison

The wording was selected to strike a balance between what it says in the rules, what is enforced differently at different parks and different events and what is in the 'unwritten rules'. As is clear in the thread above, there are discrepancies, sometimes significant ones, between what the rules say and what people do and enforce. Metal gauntlets and taking hits to garb are good examples. It's probably best to keep this sort of feedback on that thread so it's all together.
