Florentine vs sword an board

Postby Sicarian » Sat May 10, 2008 12:42 pm

So normally I just wait for the strike and take the arm(I'm the florentine). Any better way to do it? I've done the leg and that strategy can blow up in your face easily, charge= sidestep death so I've got no fear of that but if they don't attack what is the best way to open up?

Seconded.

But more generally, just make quick attacks with both weapons to different areas. Practice your timing, and you should do all right.

A counterattack technique which works is what I call a rocking parry. When the swordnboard swings rock back and bring the sword from the other side over to block and then bring your other sword up and over your own arm. Take his arm or his head. Also if he swings from an upwards diagonal still use the rocking parry but step in and open up his side. It will be impossible to block without some serious footwork.

Just note that head shots are indeed illegal in our game.
