good flail fighting

I don't know that its good so much as stylized, but here's some footage of Peter and I sparring in 2006. We're both using heavy equipment, me the gangly dude with the quad-head flail and Peter is broadsword & board. We start sparring at about 14:41.

If you want to learn how to perform well with a flail, you just need to safely get to a close enough range with your opponent where it is nigh-impossible to block the wrap of the flail. Its range control and timing when to swing.
