!Disclaimer! I was not at RagI think what he is talking about is the top of the shoulder, uncontrolled looking shots that come straight down. If you watch the video, most of your shots at least in the first few fights the majority of shots are straight up and down, and look pretty dangerous.

As well as if you watch most of the shots thrown are just getting thrown, with no apparent control over where they land. Basically there are points when the fighter had no control over what his sword is doing.
If you watch Ixous and Dac both of them have pretty phenominal control considering the way they fight. They control the shot and where it lands and have complete control of their weapons at all times

From the looks of it, and feel free to correct me, it's well weighted and he's using the main hand as a fulcrum. I'm sure there's a more in depth technique overall but that looks like the base of it as opposed to the full baseball bat swing.

I'd seriously like to know how to get back swing like that. I cannot manage that speed at all I am seriously jealous and must work harder. Thanks for the Vid though It was great to watch

Practice it properly a thousand or so times and you'll get close. Find someone local to you that is capable and have them work with you on the body form.

* Remy I think I will have to do that I have seen lots of situations at practice where it would have been useful but I knew I didn't have the speed or precision yet and would more then likely just end up hurting myself or others lol
