We are looking for realms or units to volunteer to hold a feast. Eriador will be hold on but we are not planning on doing more then that. So if your group is interested please post here. Once we have a list of groups wanting to host a feast then we will schedule who's doing it and when. If there is a specific day that you do not want to hold your feast that is fine. Please remember that you have to feed a lot of hungry people.

I won't say other realms or units suck. I will say that doing 5 feasts at our last event has prepared Horde to Rock the feast scene, which we seem to be doing.

Other groups DON'T suck.

The group I'm in DOES Rock GedDON's FACE Off!!!

we will take tuesday. roughly how many you think will be in attendance?

I'll need to get the daily figures from someone that had the attendance records. If you would like to theme your feast we can make an entire evening of it including nightlife entertainment.

Yes the Dimma Ulfur will do tue night we are working on a good nordic feast for everyone (not Ulfur greni as I am not their realm leader and cannot vouch for them. ) What would you like to do for a theme night? We are up for anything
do we get reimbursed for food, do we pay for it ourselves, or is their a budget. We can work with anything to help the society.

Not a problem We will have a viking holiday like you wont beleive. I have Some of our younger members doing research and I am looking at getting a 1/2 elk from elk farms.com to help out. Plus would you like games and such as well during the day to go with a norse midsummer feast?

Bodhi, what's the wood situation going to be like? The usual stack 'o cubes and we have to put back whatever we dig up for pits? Midsummer Festival is usually accompanined by a **** of bon fires and personally I want to spit roast everything....including Shrat. Also, what is your guys (hosts) stance on alcoholic drinks during feast? There will be at least one non-alcoholic provided as well, but since Midsummer Festival celebrates the "Honey Moon", we need Mead and maybe some Honey beer.

Any numbers soon would also be greatly appreciated, just so Thorrinn and I can discuss feasibility of certain dishes. Thanks babe.

I believe we are doing what is usually done pertaining to wood. I think we worked that out already but I need to look back and double check. Who ran troll last year? I'm trying to get the numbers but I'm not sure who has them. As soon as I know I will post what the daily numbers were.

So update.

Horde, what is your guys plans? I've been too lazy to wade through your thread in the Horde forum, so can anyone give me the low down of what kinds of foods you lot are doing? I am looking into ideas and reciepies now and would like it minimize food overlap since we are only a day apart.

Thanks! :)

We are looking at Mongolian BBQ. Chicken and beef stir fried with various veggies. We will have a drink of some kind and we will more than likely have bread w/honey butter and Fruit w/dip available on the table to encourage people to sit and not inundate the BBQ all at once.

The meat will be cooked before it arrives on-site to guarantee no undercooking.

that will not bother our feast at all. this will work out very well indeed

Bodhi/Kegg:

What is Monday looking like? Anything overall important planned on the big field? And where are you wanting to have feast on Tuesday? Our fire for roasting and general cooking is going to have to get lit, tended, and mature over Monday night, so Thorrinn and I will have to put down camp whereever that fire is, at least til our feast is done. Also, can I plan for roughly 125? Does that seem like a decent number? I'd rather plan for too many than too few.

Thanks. :)
