I know that the groups of ten or more get to reserve campsites... what do we small parties (3-4 people) do? Many of us were planning to set up tents, too, I imagine. Are we allowed to just show up and pitch tents? Or do you only get to have a space if you've reserved one?

The reservations are for the bigger (better sites) that are needed to keep large realms together. There is plenty of space to setup a tent. Just ask the Troll where you can setup.

So far there are only two sites reserved leaving tons of space. Like it was mentioned above, troll will help you find a spot that is avaliable for you.
