updated list of things needing to be done for arm

thanks to cryn, she will be the medic for the event. anyone wanting to help medic should contact her.

so the event is a few weeks away. here is what i need poeple for

troll is handled by Sorcia. she is in charge. if you wish to help get ahold of her.

event opens thursday at noon.

Sin night is on thursday night. Rowan and company are taking care of that. they have all the good stuff plus i am getting 2 kegs for the party.

weapons check opens on friday at 10 am. closes for missles at 11. and all weapons at noon. i will have squires for this, peregrine, brooder, probibly cyric and whoever else shows up, kyrian will probibly vouloenteer for missles.

friday fighting will last until about 7. KD has this wrapped up, they will be heralding. thanks to them for helping, special thanks to spike, for being green.

friday feast is for bo. hope you all want more chicken pesto??? cause that is the plan. peregrine and brooder will be helping, learning and such.
after feast we will have a slave auction. a good olfashoned slave auction.
i will be taking names for slaves on friday and at troll all the time.
this will be at main fire. proceeds will go to belegarth treasury.

saturday weapons check opens at 10am, missles close at 11 and all weapons at noon. fighting all day till we are all dead.
hell hammer will probibly be drunken haralding this, so hang on to your hat.

saturday feast is being done by telenar and ursyne. thanks guys, i need a menu and grocery list when you can.

then a party at main fire again to finish the event. we will have bardic games and whatever else we can get together. with enough attendance i can get another keg for the final party.

sunday is " get your **** and get out day". we would like to have everybody out by noon, so we can clean and inspect the site.

i need 10 volunteers for clean up. sheet will be at troll. also if each unit would get one person to be camp checker that would be great. that way there is less problems for the organizers.


i have paid 1000 for the site as a reservation. we will need to pay more but that will be worked out. i also paid 200 for insurance. that covers the site, organizers, and the fighters, i beleive it is limited to emergancy medical only but i can get a policy and double check.

The realm of Beornve volunteers for Saturday feast. Ursyne and I will put together a menu and get it to you sometime next week.

This Friday I'm taking an 8 hour class at the local Red Cross;

"Professional Rescuers Class

This is an advanced course developed for individuals who have a duty to respond to an emergency as a part of their job or for lay responders who would like to learn more about CPR. ... Meets CPR requirements for nurses, EMT's, lifeguards, and other rescuers."

All it takes to be a medic is a professional rescuers course? Hell, I could have been volunteering as a medic this whole time?

i did another update. thanks for the medics that have stepped up. saftey is really important.

also everything is looking good for this event right now. i have a handle on everything i think.

i am still a bit iffy on 2 things, # of people that will be there. and fire wood. i have not yet found a handy place to get wood yet.

any info on where to get wood near paw paw, that would be great.

I have a valid Red Cross card. Well, not the material thing (my work keeps them on file), but I was just recertified May 18th.

I have some fairly outdated CPR training.

Sorcia, I can help with troll also, if all else fails I'll find you on Thursday.

If you would like to help with troll please send me a pm.

Let me know when you will be there and when you will be willing to help. If you are willing to work during fighting or won't be fighting at all, tell me so. I would have you work a couple of 2 hour shifts with at least 2 hours off in between. No one will be asked to work for more than 2 hours in one shift unless they really want to.

Troll opens at 4 on Thursday and closes for the day at midnight or so.

Troll opens at 9 on Friday and closes around 1am depending on traffic.

Troll opens at 9 on Saturday and closes early, around 2. Any late comers will need to find me.

Just so you know, I want Troll to be a hangout as well. There will be a table dedicated to people who just want to relax, greet people when they arrive and cheer on the people working. I miss the days of everyone partying at Troll so I EXPECT it at Geddon.

Once I get my ride down on for Geddon, I would totally be happy to do a shift at troll. Just give me a time that you need filled- and people to show me what the hell needs to be done (YES, I know, take the form, fill out, etc, but I don't want to overlook anything- just the paperwork freak in me)

I'm not going to get there until late Friday night (work sucks) but I'm Red Cross CPR certified. I've also taken the EMT-B course, and am waiting on the results of my licensing exam. So, if any more help is needing, I'm game.

Hey guys, Cid and I will be arriving Wednesday evening. I have no problems helping set up the castle or what not.... and i can rank Cid into helping if he complains lol. See you guys tomorrow night... or thursday.

How about one of your squires is in charge of missile check and I'll supervise?

I personally will be showing up around 11-12 region and am totally going to work my * off on whatever you give me. I got another guy coming along too but he is in a wheelchair so if there is anything that he can do it would also be cool. All that I really want to do is work and maybe get some help setting up my yurt. I will then return home to get one more guy and be back around 7ish. So yeah I'm going to help if work is given to me.

Don't mean to inject when not needed, but Bo, your retainer also needs to learn everything there is about weapons check. Please teach him and put his butt to good use. Such knowledge and experience would be most useful for him and his newish realm.

Im just going to Interject where it is needed, Muxlovia has probably the best weapons check I kno of in any independent realm. Besides some of the power houses of Numenor and Wolfpack etc. So Peregrine is rocking out with his newish realm
