Weather

Postby Porthos » Wed Jun 11, 2008 5:12 pm

According to Weather.com the forecast for Earlville, IL 60518-

Thursday Day: High of 87, Scattered Strong Storms/Winds, Precipitation: 50%
Thursday Night: Overnight Low, 66, Strong Storms, Precipitation 80%

Friday: High 78, Low 59, PM Thundershowers 60%

Saturday: High 83, Low 63, Mostly Sunny, Precipitation 20%

I think packing for rain would be advisable. But, if that pavillion is gonna be rockin, there will be a dry feast, I hope.

Yes, but for us new fighters who think "Oh, hey, it's Armageddon in June, the event is going to be hot, not wet. What do I need a poncho for?"

Just an update, according to the NOAA/National Weather Service website-

Oh well, here's the link, still trying to get my stuff together

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... 2=-88.9239

Roughly the same, but better (for us that is) odds on the thundershowers. A quarter to half an inch of rain on Thursday night, mainly before 1am. Looks like a wet sin night. Hopefully we won't get the downpour that came at Springwars. Is Gorlock angry? Just checking...

Just another weather update- I figured NOAA/National Weather Service is a bit more reliable than The Weather Channel's website.

Yeppers... I am staying here in the Quad Cities tonight, I will be out in the early morning. You make sure that Telenar doesn't pull a Wiz of Oz on me and get a house dropped on him tonight :frog:

Please be careful tonight, it "might" get bad out. Have fun and see you in the morning since the rest of the weather looks fanfreakingtastic!
