Flying to Arm. Please help me not die.

So I'm planning on attending my 1st ever eastern event by coming to Armageddon. I really won't know anybody because I'm coming for Kicks and Giggles. What I require is help from my fellow Belegarth fighters!

Which airport would be best to fly to? I would assume Chicago's O'Hare International?

Would someone be able to pick me up and drop me off at the airport?

Could someone provide me with shelter and possibly borrow weaponry? Fighting unarmed is not my preferred style and I'll steal weapons from your cold dead bodies if I have too.

Also I'll pay for someone to provide me with food. Or I could do what some fighters are really good at and mooch.

Anything else I should be aware of coming to this event or anything I should bring?

Edit: I'll also be bringing my feast night entertainment with a special performance of me being awesomely stupid! Who wouldn't want me to come?

yea ohare intN is the airport you would want. I'm sure someone will be able to pick you up. It will be easier for people to know if the can get you if you post what day you are planning on flying in on

it would be cheaper to fly in to chicago's Midway Airport with either Frontier Airlines or Southwest.

I will be arriving at Chicago's O'Hare Airport at 3:00 PM on June 10th. Delta Flight # 1740

I will be leaving at Chicago's O'Hare Airport at 7:30 AM on June 14th.

So now I need someone to please pick me up and drop me off.
Once I found out who these persons are, I would like to exchange phone numbers in case of anything should happen.

Thanks for the help guys I really appreciate this! I'd do the same for any of you guys as well. If I need to pay for anything I'd be more then happy too.

And whoever it works out for best, I don't want to inconvenience anybody. Heck all you'd have to do is give me a sleeping bag and a pillow and I'd do all right.

Thanks for all the support! I'm happy to be apart of such a great community.

Could someone get in contact with some of the locals of that area to see if anyone would be willing to pick me up(or drop off) at the airport? I have no idea where any of the groups are in that area or if I need to hire a taxi or something.

Also, thinking about it, I could just buy my supplies of food when I arrive there if someone takes me to a store.

You're looking at about an hour to an hour and a half from the airport to the park (or back). That 3pm arrival time is peachy keen, but 7:30 am departure is gonna be super rough. I wouldn't worry too much about a ride till it gets much closer to the event, no one around here makes plans this early.

So as I will be returning from an interview in Virginia on the Wednesday evening that Arm starts, I thought I would throw out my taxi services.

If you think I might like you or atleast not despise you, and you are going to be flying into O Hare around 6pm-ish on Wed 6/10, I got a car already there with just me and my gear in it.
