Hydra Food Drive at Geddon

I want to let everyone know that Hydra will be holding a food drive at Geddon 2010.

We will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods (canned, boxed, packaged...) at troll.

For each donated food item we will place your name in a drawing. The drawing winners will be selected at feast on Saturday. Since there is a choice of prizes you need to be present or have someone there select your item for you.

We are giving away the following:
Edhellen Medium Punch Sheild
Refund of Geddon Entry Fees courtesy of Hydra
1 set of feast gear
Custom made Tunic & Hakimas (measurements taken at Geddon and shipped within 4 weeks)

All donated foods will be given to the Earlville United Presbyterian Church who have agreed to work with the Angel Food Share and Helping Hands to distribute the food in the Earlville area.

So check your kitchen, bring some food to donate and support the local community.

Great idea.

Have you also considered asking people for donations on Sunday morning? I would bet there are a number of canned goods that people don't open or can't find a can opener for.
