Tell me!!

Postby Niall OConnor » Wed Jan 19, 2011 9:05 pm

So there seems to be a lot more excitement over chaos wars than armagedon Which us a bigger deal? Also is Armagedon the belegarth equivalent to Ragnarok?

Also. It required to be 18? And would a brother qualify as a guardian?

Well, Chaos Wars is the big event out west...and really nowadays Oktoberfest is the big event in the east. Armageddon used to be a week long and pretty sweet, but it's mellowed out in recent years. And yes, it has always been considered the Bel equivalent to Rag. We usually try pretty hard to make sure they aren't planned totally on top of each other, although that tends to happen a lot.

Niall OConnor wrote:Also. It required to be 18? And would a brother qualify as a guardian?

In order to fight on the field, you must be at least 16. Also, you must have a signed, notarized waiver, as well as a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. A brother would count for that, yes, but unless your brother is your legal guardian, he can't sign the waiver.

galya lies, octfest has numbers, that is all. you give me 50 degree nights and 70 degree days, i will give you 1000 at geddon.

as for chaos, well chaos is the stuff west of the mississippi. i went last year and it was awesome. if you can go, you will have so much fun, you rhead might explode.

now as for geddon, it is tons of fun as well. i havent had to sell it for a while, its rep has been very good lately. but it has 2 very good feasts, sin nighy( over 21), virtue night( under 21 and non sinners), several battle games, lots of fighting all day. stone house park is an amazing venue, power and water all over the site. plus there is a very good support network of fighters nearby, so we can get travelers to anf from the site.

Sweet. My group was going to go to chaos wars but due to timing we are going to geddon instead. Is there merchants and night activities like at rag and chaos wars?

to some extent, thogh we tend to be less one group and more like several.

around hydra camp, usually casual drinking, nothing illegal, and good chatter.

dregoth camp isuasually pretty good party, heavier drinking and silly behavior in general. be careful, they will try and make you a pettitoner, lol.,

hellhammer, has a loud party and usually has fighting in front of thier area, it is where the lights are.nightfighting is awesome and i hope it catches on in our sport.

then there are various camps having fun times, but as an event we dont have specific functions each night. we do havea bonfire saturday, and friday there is talk of some activities.

I'm from Edmond Oklahoma. I started my own realm here and will have at least 3 fighters from my realm at geddon. Are there classes like at chaos wars? And is there a certain spot we have to camp at?

There are usually classes. If not, I can teach pretty much all of them and I'll be there Niall.

A post will be made in this forum when Pre-reg opens and you'll be able to pay/register then. As far as camp site registry goes, a map of that will probably be posted at that time as well.

Think of things like this to: Eastern Belegarth is very dense around IL. We don't get amazing excited about Geddon because we have tons of events that are all bigger than chaos wars. But out West, there are a lot of weekend events spread over half the US, then all of the west gets very excited for the one event they ALL try to make it to. It's like... like throwing spoon fulls of cake at a large crowd of fat kids, then setting a cake the size of a truck in the middle of all of them, they go nuts for it.

Except me. I don't like cake. Now if it was a swimming pool full of pudding then I would go bonkers.

No, because then a bunch of mostly naked fat guys will be jumping in your pudding. All pudding containers should be small enough that a fat person CAN NOT fit in them.
