we will be having a t shirt contest and all preregers will get a t shirt. derian is amazing and has set it up, so make sure that you enter the size when yopu prereg. prereg will open in a couple weeks.

well, crap i was hoping we would miss that, but with stone house haivng an event the next week, my sisters event funny enough, i dont have much wiggle room unless we delay a full 2 weeks. * edit* i didnt have any wiggle room at all, i just checked stone house is full the next month of weekends, and putting it on the 1-5 of june will overlap for finals for most students.

eh, it is always something. i would like to appologize to gorlock, his future wife rachel, and those that will have to make choices between these 2 great times.

these dates were set a few months ago, before i knew about any wedding.
advanced planning has its downfalls, hopefully its assets out weight them significantly.

Where is the best place to fly into?

chicago, about 2 hour drive with traffic. we will have poeples that can get you.

i just re-evaluated these dates again, there is no way we are going to get a better day. i edited above, but would like to restate that i am sorry for the over lap. the dates were picked, i beleive in october after fest. pookey was doing some organizing and trying to get the park dates set for the upcoming year. the dates selected were essentially the same as the year before. it wouldnt have mattered much at all anyway, the event following geddon is a 12 day affair, psg. it is going to be a very profitable deal for the park to have it, it is a long standing event with tons of members traveling from all over. we would have probibly had to switch dates anyway, as the park would have asked, we dont pay much for the park, psg will.

i dont like to, and i have and will continue to work hard to not have geddon over other events. i know i am 0 for 2 with iowan weddings, i would much rather be 0 for 0. i just heard about the dates, pm from gorlock about a week ago, i am just not feeling good right now about this.

Will there also be camping gear for us to use?

I'm sure you can find someone with a spare tent. None of mine, save for the one that I regularly use, are big enough for me and my gear. Otherwise I'd be glad to share.

I'm not whining; don't feel ****, Bo. I know it's difficult to schedule with regards to everything that's going on during such a busy time of the year.

Actually, Rockford might be a bit closer. It's only about 90 minutes or so from the park. Might cost less too. Just something to look into and consider. Up to you though. Otherwise, yeah, go with Chicago.

There's no way in hell that it's gonna be cheaper to fly into rockford vs O'haire. Anywhere you're flying from their gonna make you transfer. Okay, maybe not everywhere, I guess it's worth a check, but I'd be SHOCKED.

Midway is usually way cheaper coming from the West.

Talk to the other Khador folks, as far as finding loaner camping equipment. The cost hasn't been set in stone yet (as far as I know), and the dates are in the forum description on the index.

Blackhawk and I are planning on coming out to Geddon for a couple of days this year (first time for both of us), but I have a couple of questions.

1) I am a merchant (BadAss Garb)- do you have a Merchant's Row or somewhere I could set up a tent and table to sell? If so, are there any additional vendor fees?

2) Are there power outlets available on site, either at a centralized location or at the individual camp sites?

1. there is a merchant row, it is usually on the road by the store. i dont charge extra to be a merchant, i believe they work hard enough to be there. so just your entrance fee is aqll that is required.

2. therea re outlets all over the park in power poles. they are ab out 4' high and usually grey.

anyhting else just ask .
