Hello and well wishes to all. Welcome to the official Chaos Wars XV information thread.

This thread will have all of the official information regarding Chaos Wars XV and will be updated as activities, rules, and Chaos Wars Banner information become finalized.

This is the fifteenth anniversary of Chaos Wars everybody!

$40, $5-10 for Kids
5 bucks per day, after Wednesday. $10 for Saturday only.
Preregistration price is $30.
This includes everything from parking, camping, tournament entry, feasts and classes.

Preregistration Information

Please mail event fee and waivers to:

Preregistration has closed
Preregistration is $30 per individual over the age of 12.
Children under 12 are free but still require waivers to be present on the site.
Please include payment and also real and Belegarth names on your waivers.
Checks can be made payable the Highlands of Chaos
Preregistration will end July 15th
All payments and mail must be postmarked by July 15th.

Minor is defined as being under the age of 18.
The minimum age for participating in fighting (on or off the field; with or without heralds) is 16.

Daily activities:

• Troll is open from 10a-6p
• Weapons check at 8am to 10am daily Par is head weapon's checker this year
  - missile weapons checked daily
  - armor weekly (checked once for the week)
  - melee weapons daily
• Fighters to field by 10:30am
• Break for lunch
• Night Fighting after sundown

Three fates Inn is a collaboration that has been in the business of feeding Chaos Wars attendees since Chaos Wars 12. Those who register for their meal deals will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week.

Other Tournaments
Four man - standard bracket 4 vs 4 tournament
Duo - standard bracket 2 vs 2 tournament
Newb - For fighters who have been fighting less than 2 years.
Newb 4 man - like the 4 man but with an experience max.
Single blue - The largest tournament. 1 vs 1 using only blue class weapons.
Tank - standard bracket tourny requiring an armor minimum, usually full torso and either arms or legs.
Florentine - standard bracket tournament where fighters use two weapons each
Red - standard bracket tournament where fighters use red class weapons
Green - stabbing only tournament
Archery (Shield) all archers take the field and allowed to be accompanied by a single shield-man.
Washers - a horse shoe like game using washers and counterbalances. It's a lot of fun.

Assassin's Tournament - Lady Rose of Shannara, the current champion assassin, has the task of organizing this exciting tournament. Sign up with her at the event.

Chaos Wars is an event that is completely run by volunteers who share a common passion for Belegarth, sword play, and the meeting and interacting with medieval enthusiasts from all walks of life. Please be respectful and understand that the process of coordinating an event as large and exciting as Chaos Wars requires the time and commitment of a dedicated few individuals. While it is the hard work of coordinators that makes this event possible, it is the attendance of the people who participate and enjoy Chaos Wars that makes this event a true success. The easiest way you can show your support of the coordinators' efforts is to be apart of the fighting and activities throughout the week and to play fair and have a great time.

In consideration of receiving permission from Highlands of Chaos, to participate in the fifteenth annual Chaos war, and to participate in any activity, event, tournament, contest or meeting that Highlands of Chaos, participates, sponsors, attends or supervises. The Undersigned releases Belegarth MCS, Highlands of Chaos, the owners of The Silverbell Ranch, where the event and tournaments, contests and meetings will occur, and any other participant of Chaos war thirteen individually, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of actions, arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Undersigned, or any property of the Undersigned, while participating in any of the activities, events, tournaments, contests or meetings that Chaos Wars participates, sponsors, attends or supervises.

I've had some questions about preregistration for those who cannot attend the entire event.

Standard registration is 40$ for the week. Monday - Saturday.

Because of the large number of people who attend this event both preregistered and those who pay onsite, it is too complicated to deal with mail, filing waivers and tracking specific payments coordinated to the arrival dates for individuals.
Similar to how like Chaos Wars has done in the past, the event fee declines 10$ for each day you are absent after Wednesday. Down to 10$ for Saturday only. Friday is a big battle/nightlife day and Saturday has a feast.
This discount only goes one way so if you register for example on Wednesday but skip Thursday or Friday it's still 40$. Leaving early does not constitute a refund.
Keep it simple is the rule here.

Children are free.

i THINK you can just sell whatever you like since it's a private property and a private party. last year some of use were selling/trading things and it wasn't a problem at all. I would ask at troll where the best place to set up a tent or something is. also, pm Elwrath or Cedric just to double check since they are coordinators.

This years colors are Blue, White, and Silver. Our two guest musical artists, D Poetica (Aphex) and The Dirty Words (Sare and his band) are the symbols in the bottom left and top right corners. Silhouettes for the Fighters are Paksha (blue) and Alexii (white.) I'm not sure who took that original picture but it's a reversed version of one from the best of the best picture thread. Chaos Star is the bottom right. The letters are Greek numbers for CW15, 2011.
