I need info about quiet camp... we have a baby who will be nine months old for Chaos. is there a co-op for people to watch other people's kids for a little while so they can fight? what are the noise hours? how much room is there for tents/campers, etc.?

Also, Thanto and I have started a new unit in Aquilonia. We're calling ourselves the Saints of Polaris, or just Polaris for short. so far it's just us. we're having issues recruiting, and would like to spread the word at Chaos. how do we do this? and how does it work for unit battles/points/war counsel?

We don't allow campers, its not a site that has hook ups and the owner has requested that we don't have them. As to kids, just talk with other parents at the site, we don't have an official baby sitting option. Quiet camp should always be quiet.

What kind of weather do you get at this site in late July: How hot is it during the day, how cold during the night, and how likely is it to rain?

Also, I was wondering about cost. Lina and I are most likely going to be able to attend Wednesday thru Saturday, and I noticed in the main thread:

$40, $5-10 for Kids
5 bucks per day, after Wednesday. $10 for Saturday only.
Preregistration price is $30.

So should we just pre-reg for $30? The on-site cost if we show up Wednesday will still be $40, right?

Hot (and I mean hot) during the day, but cooler at night (cloak/light longer sleeves). This may (hopes) not the case. MT has been pretty cool temp wise this year, but they are further south.

Taken from a post of Elwrath's concerning non-com stuff at Chaos: As far as pt. values, each will be worth equal pts of: 5 for first, 3 for second, and 2 for 3rd. Each group participating in the banner can only win 1 of the top 3 spots but you can enter as much as you want/have stuff for.

Yes Otto...merchants are allowed, we are given a small area off to the side of the fighting field and its been great so far. I'm not aware of anything that needs to be contacted about it but I could be wrong. I think Chaos averages about 300 people.

Chaos 11? I was pretty drunk the entire event, but I don't recall an ambulance showing then.

One of the guys I just sent the money in for pre-reg just had a family crisis, is there any way we can use his money for a different person? I can send in a new waiver to you guys with a note letting you which one is no longer attending

Should be fine, just make sure your new guys brings his waiver, ID, and all other necessary stuff.

So I printed out the minor release form I found on the boards, and am kind of confused about it. It says "Undersigned sign here", Who exactly is that referring to?

"Undersigned" is who is responsible if the minor gets injured (i.e. the minor's parent/guardian). The "Name of minor child" line is where the person going to the event signs, and the notary signature line will be on the stamp that they put on the waiver.

The way I've always phrased it is "a government-issued photo ID."

Most states offer a state identification card you can get in lieu of a drivers license (all states?). Otherwise typical legal forms of ID include a passport or military ID.
