City Guard (Event Security): This is the group of people in charge of making sure everyone is following the rules of both the event and the site owners. We do not use City Guard for RP purposes, they are event security. If they tell you to do something, accept it as if you were just told by an event coordinator.

City Guard at this point will be run by a series of Captains. Captains will be selected by the event coordinators based on a number merits. Each Captain is in charge of one shift. During a shift a Captain may have any number of City Guards working under him/her. But during that shift the Captain is the "goto" person for anything security related. If that Captain can't handle that situation, they are to take it to an event coordinator.

Anyone on City Guard will wear a brightly colored tabard designating you as City Guard. Captain armbands will be a little different to show they are the person in charge of that shift.

Shifts will work alongside sanctioned fighting. First shift is 6pm – 10pm, Second Shift is 10pm - 2am. If you sign up for a shift this does not mean you can't fight or participate in the event, it means you are the person in charge of City Guard for that time frame and need to make sure you are available, or at least ready in a moments notice, like if you were on the field and a City Guard came to you, be prepared to drop your weapons and take care of the situation before returning to the field of battle. This also means that you CANNOT be drinking alcohol on your shift or be super drunk.

I'm looking into getting a Captains hat for those who would like to wear it while they are Captain for there shift. Also thank you for everyone that has signed up to volunteer! You will make CW a safer place!

There will be a drawing to enter your name into for every shift you partake in with any task of volunteering at CW. Gifts include gas cards, garb, and junk food! The drawing will be at feast night

I also think that anyone participating as city guard, if they want, may be given a belt favor or something after the event. Just a personal thought. I like to keep a record of the things I do to help events out.

Good question! Meet up at Troll. You will receive your vest and or armband to proclaim you as City Guard. Also just contact me to let me know which nights you want to do. I will be around Troll alot or checking in with troll very frequently. I will also have sign up sheets at Troll for shifts needing to still be covered. Thanks for helping out!!!
