Chaos Wars XVII Iron Chef Monster Feast
Posted: Tue Mar 26, 2013 12:42 amOk! We've gotten to the point where a few things have been hashed out and feel comfortable sharing the main points of what this is going to be about.
We will have two sides of "pinkies" vs "monsters".
Which actually would make more sense since we want people to act like what happens on the show. People have different ideas and such, etc. With hosts of the two sides being myself heading up the Pinkies and Ahlschwede heading up the Monsters.
I'd rather it not be for banner points myself, I'd rather it just be a fun event that is not to be taken seriously, which if its for banner points. It will be.
All right I'll get on with the judging selection. I already got Paksha on board. And others are being discussed.
At the start of the day of Monster Feast, teams will only have a limited amount of time to prepare. And they must use the SECRET INGREDIENT that the judges//hosts will hand out.
So rules thus far
1. Must be able to be eaten by hands.
2. Must be made same day as the monster feast.
3. Must be monster themed.
Judging Criteria thus far
1. Monster Theme
2. Taste
3. Use of the secret ingredient
4. How well can it be thrown and/or table flipped.
5. Cooks propaganda of the meal.
At the very least I suggest that we video as much of what happens as possible. And also up-play everything. Flip out, throw things. Toss tables etc.
As I'd love to cut this into like an actual "episode".
