T-Shirts

Postby SkippyPockets » Sat Aug 08, 2009 2:31 am

Hey everyone, so through my years of fighting I've noticed we have A LOT of slogans and such that would be GREAT on T-shirts and other merchandise, and would get people asking questions, possibly a great way to get our name out there and recruit! So here's the deal, I'm starting my own T-shirt company with a friend of mine, and right now we are in the design stages, but once we are up and running I'm willing to make a line of shirts strictly for belegarth. Please fill up this topic with all the slogans you would like to see on shirts and other merchandise, example: Play hard, fight harder.

Once the website for my company is up and running I will post it here, along with images of our shirts. I have a couple images already, with a couple slogans. So just let me know what you all think of the idea. I don't want to be wasting my time making shirts for Belegarth if no one is gonna buy them from me. :)
Let me know!

That's where we are in the process of. Right now we have a website that makes and delivers for us, and we get a commission on the design of the shirt. So for the meantime that's how we are selling them, once we have the equipment, then it will be a lot easier.

Once we have the equipment, we will have less of a middle man, other than the postal service. lol

I use a site similar to both cafepress and zazzle, it's a temporary solution until we can get all the screen printing equipment.

Hey Vaffel would you mind if we used "I'd dap that" on a shirt?

Sorry Peniston, that "I'd dap that" was totally yours! And I'll so make that! ha ha. And yes Spreadshirt is similar to cafepress but ALOT more user friendly and ALOT better quality. And we've got the silk screen equipment so soon we'll be making these on our own and shipping them out from our website. So just keep checking in, we'll keep you all updated.

I'd buy a T-shirt actually >.> I'd even wear it to.

Slogans.... Let me think here...

A shillouette of a fat dude "This is you"

On the other side show someone with a sword and Board. Make him look as good as possible "This is you on Belegarth."

Or maybe...

Label a shirt as "Ego Armor"

I'll probably think of ones that are actually good when I'm trying to go to bed

Well those who think that I look like a 'surprised 12 year old' take a look at my new picture. Both pictures are taken within 2 months of each other. The newest one I did for a portrait contest, which I won.

So please take it as it is.

Btw, I have some bad news about the Tshirt company. We have had a major set back. My partner has moved to Chicago, and our source of silk screen equipment has sold their set. So...unfortunatly my company is back to the beginning. I will let you all know when things get back up and running.

my personal favorite would be the chaos 12 shirt design, showing the evolution of man from ape, and when it gets to the human it just shows some dude with a sword and board, i thought that was pretty cool.
other than that why not just print shirts with unit symbols on them and maybe where they are located, that could be pretty cool

Hey good news! My company is back in business and is actually doing great! We have our own equipment and website. It's www.eyemagicnation.com. We need to upload some new designs soon, the ones up there now are the custom ones we have done. I have some plans to be doing the unit crests and such for events. So just keep an eye out. We'll have some more news soon. Just trying to coordinate with some folks.

a popular joke us western bel girls have is "my boyfriends name is belegarth and he beats me." i have been told multiple times to "just leave him" after events when i'm walking around with bruises up my arms. lol.

of course you could just make "my boyfriend beats me." or better yet, "my girlfriend beats me." shirts with a little silhouette of a boy/girl fighter with a S&B. and on the back the belegarth shield or website.

that's cool your site is going strong.

Hey guys these are all really great! If you can all send me a personal PM or just an email at trueute@gmail.com I can keep track of all the cool ideas!

So here's the deal. I talked to Forkbeard today at the Layton Practice and merchanting is a go. :) So EyeMagicNation will be out and about doing our thing. So all ideas would be greatly appreciated. Another favor I would like to ask is those who's unit crests(that are passed) would like to have their stuff printed on shirts and the like to please email me a picture of it. For example, I already have Chompy for the Urks. :) So at events I'm gonna have Tshirts available of all sizes and colors and maybe even some pre made tabards. But they will all be blank. Now you can buy a blank one, OR you can have us print your unit design on it for a small fee. We'll have screens and ink ready in the back to do so. With us printing it, it'll take about 10 minutes before you can leave with your shirt or tabard. So be patient we gotta let it dry. So with that being said, we have to pre make our screens before we show up to events, so make sure if you want your unit's stuff on anything to please make sure I have your image and what colors you need.

More info to come later! Get ready to see us at events! We'll be watching for you!

So if you are serious about starting up you can buy small screen printing setups somewhat cheap.
for example

and thats just one home screen machine

I just put up a belegarth t-shirt design of my own in my Zazzle store. It's based on my design I did for a screen printing project in one of my graphic design classes. Pretty simple, but people who I've shown it to seem to like it. Right now the design is only meant to be for black or dark colored clothing but if there is demand I can make one suited for lighter colored ones as well.
