I have use cores other than pvc and bandshoppe I just prefer those two. I use blue camp foam and couch cushin foam for stabbies. I can obtain and work with really anything that is asked of me.
To start out I am selling my four foot red hammer with a bandshoppe pole core. My scale is broken so I will have an update once I have weighed it. I will put a stabby on for and extra 3 bucks bringing it to 43 dollars. The handle is covered with black duct tape, and it works really really well for red users, and is sometimes used one handed with a sheild by the beefcakes (jeff). It is my personal second favorite weapon it's very fun to use and effective. I will have pics up tonight.
