Hi all,
So only a few people from these boards ordered with me for the last group buy of garb shoes, but I figure I might as well post this again in case there's anyone who didn't see or didn't have a chance to last time.
Don't have a 100% complete price and style inventory from Westland yet, but at this point I do have prices for most items--and sorry, but the prices to me have gone up so the price to you has to go up a bit from the last order as well. I have listed the styles that I already have prices for below by price.
$45 + domestic shipping:
Early Period:
Two-Toggle Viking Boots
Early Period Turnshoes
14th Century:
Laced Ankle Boots
Buckled Ankle Boots
13th/14th Century Turn Shoes
16th Century:
Mary Rose Shoes
Tudor/Landsknechte Shoes
Eastern Shoes:
Eastern Fashion Shoes
(I honestly have no idea what the provenance of these is)
$55 + domestic shipping:
Early period:
Three-Toggle Viking Boots
Irish Slippers
Two-Toggle Viking Boots in turnshoe construction
14th Century:
Laced Ankle Boots in turnshoe construction
Buckled Ankle Boots in turnshoe construction (don't have pics right now, see above)
$60 + domestic shipping:
Imperial Roman:
4th Century Calcei
$65 + domestic shipping:
Imperial Roman:
1st Century Caligae
Early Period:
Three-Toggle Viking Boots in turnshoe construction (no pix yet, need confirmation . . . let me know if there's actually interest in these and I can confirm them)
Other:
High Boots:
Knee-high styles (c. $100):
Knee-High Jack Boots
Knee-High Pointed Toed Boots
Knee-High Rounded Toed Boots
Thigh-High Boobts (c. $110 or $120)
Early Period Turnshoes:
Coppergate Shoes . . . still under development, probably $55 per pair
Irish Turnshoes . . . either $45 or $55 per pair, probably $45
Irish Pointy Toed Slippers . . . also probably $45 per pair
All styles are available in the 8 colors seen here. Blue, Golden, White, Green, Red, Brown, Natural, and Black. The natural colored ones are undyed and will accept dye quite well if you want to dye them another color.
In addition, thin vibram soles can be added to any style of shoes for an additional $7 per pair.
Domestic shipping will be $7 for the first pair plus $3 per additional pair. The knee and thigh high boots will probably cost more to ship, I'm not sure about details, and there'll probably be about a $3 surcharge to ship to the far western states to cover higher shipping costs--I use almost exclusively Priority Mail and it just costs more to ship to California that to, say, Missouri or Maryland.
If the pairs you want are among the styles I already gave definite prices for, I'm ready to take those orders. I have established a special email address to deal with shoe orders, oisinshoes@gmail.com.
Send me an email including the following information:
Email subject line:
BELEGARTH SHOES ORDER [YOUR USER NAME]
(Please replace [YOUR USER NAME] with, well, your use name on these boards . . . common sense isn't so common that I don't sometimes get someone who doesn't do it.)
And please include the following information, in this format:
Belegarth Boards Screen Name
Full Legal Name
Preferred Email Address
Phone Number
Street Address
City, State
ZIP
As well as what style(s), color(s) and size(s) you want. Whole mens sizes 6 to 15 and whole womens sizes 5 to 10 are available in every style, and extra wide is an option (possibly at an extra cost, I'll get back about that).
I'll respond with my paypal address and exact cost, and put your order down when I receive payment. I can also accept cashiers' checks or money orders, and I'd be willing to consider offers of trades for things I might be interested in, but no personal checks.
Delivery should be expected in late September or early October, probably in time for Octfest but likely too late for Equinox.
Thanks, and please let me know if you're interested!
Oisin
