Your location says that you're in Aquilonia so you could try to bring it to our practice and try and sell it there. People always want/need swords and shields.

Sadly, don't get out to practice much anymore. Fight live steel mostly.

What are you asking for the helm, and what are the measurements on it? Depending on what the answers are, I'd probably take it. PM me.

This guy is NOT part of our realm. I don't think he even lives near it. I have never met him that I can remeber.
He's claiming to be from my realm. That is very strange to me.
I would thoroughly check him out before giving him money.

I didn't look last night, but now I have, none of this **** has ever been on the field in our realm.
Ever. I have no idea who this joker is, but he is not from my realm.
I heard on Facebook that a guy back east had his entire kit stolen recently. I think this is it. If you bought it, I beleive you just bought property stolen from another player very recently.

To this Valleywhoever, Explain yourself. You have used the name of my group. If we find that this **** was stolen and we find you, you are ****. You have one chance to make this right. You say above you fight live steel. I say this is *. There are only like 3 live steel outfits in Utah and I am connected with them all, however loosly. I will find you and I will punnish you is these thing turn out to be stolen.

Considering this is all accurate... Way to hock stolen goods "from the realm" that belongs to Belegarth's own attack dog.

Interesting,

Vallynwam posted a similar thread back in April.

Same stuff? New stuff? Stolen?

The plot thickens.

Vallynwam wrote:All sold as one lot. Sorry everyone but major major thanks for all the interest.
That was on Tuesday April 19th, 2011. The link he provided in the thread for images is the same as the one in this thread.

After doing some tracking(or getting Derian to do, rather) we have found that this guy is most likely that Calder dude from SLC a year or so ago.
Why he has changed his name and isn't answering messages about this is beyond me.
There is a new wood sword/live steel group in SLC. Their leader is a **** psyco and wont let the people in the group ascociate with Belegarth people or anyone elese. THey are not good fighters( the group and their leader) and seem to want to be an inbred group of douch weasles. I think Calder joined them.

Fork, the leader isn't called Vaas or something similar by any chance? I've heard he's tried to hold a group like that up there from time to time. He is a completely psycho ego-maniac.

Thought I saw this somewhere else, it's also on the Dag boards. http://www.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php?topic=21959.0

Says there he sold it in one lot so I'm guessing he put it on both boards and one person bought it all. Doubt he sold it twice, just posted about it more than necessary.

I've been wondering if it was him. I met him years ago and he was a **** * then, so I wouldn't be surprised, based on what I heard about this joker.
Vass wasn't a very good fighter, though. Just a big dude with an attitude.
He did a little mma fighting locally, and sucked at that, too.
I'll go over the next time I'm down there and see.

I haven't seen Vaas since fighting with him before he was kicked out of Ered Duath, way back in the 90s, but I was discovered he was still around when I ran across this thread. From Deirdra's experience, he hasn't improved any and the idea of someone with so little self-control and such serious ego issues leading a live steel group is very, very disturbing. Besides, any leader that tells you that you cannot associate with people who don't think like you should cause you to move along.

Sounds like a nasty guy.

Unrelated, if you're fully armored in a sport with head shots, I think punches, kicks, and trips should be legal.

This is awesome fighting. Orso and Physic both do this if I'm remembering correctly...armor kit weighing between 50-150lbs if its what I'm thinking.

Actually jack-arse...
it was Calder. WAS. See the end of this to figure out why he isn't answering his messages anymore.
He changed his personality to reflect a more Norse persona, and because Calder that was his real family name. And since he was in SLC instead of Ogden, along with me and several others, we technically are part of your pathetic realm. None of us do, or have ever done live steel, so you got your facts mixed up there dumb***.
This was ALL his gear, all of it, but you likely never saw it (except at Chaos wars a couple years back, check with Loptr, he'll confirm) because you and the rest of the lazy * Uruks from this region are pretty much a worthless contribution to Bel as a whole, and hardly worth the drive North to Ogden. Practices hvae been being held in Draper and Herriman for well over a year now, sort of on our own since none of you seemed to actually ever show up at Liberty Park in SLC.

I don't know who this live steel group your talking about is, but chances are they have bigger balls than you, since they aren't hitting each other with foam bats. But sorry, Calder wasnt part of them.
now, why isn't he on here answering this himself?
Easy.
He's dead.
Passed away this spring. Hit by a car and killed on a bike. He was a bike racer too and was out training.
Same reason he isn't at SCA practices anymore either A#$ hole, so do some fact checking instead of just making *&$^ up "Forkhole" before you start slandering people's names.
It was legit gear and it was sold because he was purchasing new armor and making weapons himself right before he was hit and killed. no wonder your group suffers so much with crap like this...Man, you are a class act dude, way to get your facts straight and step on someones name without checking. :finger: :knight:

Holy Crap man, 2 months down the road and now you come here to smack talk FB. First off, learn to read dude. He said he didn't know why he had changed his name or would not answer messages. Then he said he "thought" Calder had joined the steel group. If you'd like to see exactly how lazy of an Ork I am come visit me. I like slaughtering people who seem to think that talking badly about my unit will get them anywhere.

I am truly sorry for your friends passing, that really sux man. But when someone post stuff up for sale, then is accused of possibly having stole it. THen that person changes their board names and stops answering messages, what would you think? Thanks for setting the record straight, I am glad the gear wasn't stolen. Now get your panties out of a bunch, and go swing some foam.

Uh... someone had gear stolen not long before this post. Some guy trys to hock gear listing a realm that does not know him. Tell me that is not shady.

Forkbeard not only addressed this issue with tact, he also confirmed he was mistaken in a later post. Keep in mind, Forkbeard also had the welfare of Belegarth's members in mind when he saw this post and responded... hmm, sounds like a contribution to the community right there - one of many on his extensive Bel resume. He had a colorful opinion of your dead friend; a point of view that opposes yours, tough **** - cowboy up.

Who the **** are you? What have YOU contributed?

I think we can all tell who the jackass really is...
